Ted Williams: The Man with the Golden Voice

It started with a viral video, a then-homeless man named Ted Williams is now getting his second chance in life by doing a full-time announcing work for the Cleveland Cavaliers. Williams, 53, was a former radio announcer before being succumbed to drugs and alcohol. After successfully making his way out of addiction, he lived as a beggar, holding up a cardboard sign saying: 

I HAVE A GOD GIVEN GIFT OF VOICE, I'M AN EX-RADIO ANNOUNCER WHO HAS FALLEN ON HARD TIMES. PLEASE! ANY HELP WILL BE GREATFULLY APPRECIATED smiley THANK YOU AND GOD BLESS YOU / HAPPY HOLIDAYS

Having a natural deep baritone voice, it's not unusual that he'll get a lot of offers to do voicing works. Such an inspiring story deserves this full media attention, a person who survived his bleak, uncertain past and making his way and straightening out his life for good.
